We provide adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged 6-25. Girls and young women make up almost 10 per cent of the membership in the UK. We are pleased to tell people that we are the country's largest mixed organisation for young people with a membership of over 400,000.

There are three Scouting Districts in Southampton. Each District is comprised of several Scout Groups each with a local meeting place (some of these are available for hire). There is sure to be one near you. Most of them offer activities for Beaver Scouts (6-8), Cub Scouts (8-10½), Scouts (10½-14) and Explorer Scouts (14-18). The Scout Network is for young people aged 18-25. Some Groups are Sea Scout groups who offer more water-based activities. We also run several nearby campsites available for public hire.
